The composition and texture of prefabricated buildings (“Plattenbauten”) are in their essence very similar to the systematic outline of woven fabric. The Arabella Building in Munich with its front looking like a grid gave the inspiration for these woven textiles. Taking up the accurate lines and areas of the building, a structure was created which is indicative for the overall appearance.
